International adoption is wonderful and a beautiful call from God. Domestic private adoption is, too. Foster adoption is also a call, one that–like the other two–can have significant challenges, but if such barriers are being put up by countries like China, I hope that many families will explore their other options and see that there are children living right there in the same city as they are, waiting for a family to love them.
